Kosher Woman was created by a group of Rabbis & professional women
who felt there was a need for a website
where busy Jewish women could go for quick answers to questions,
rather than having to read lengthy articles or books.
Kosher Woman burst on-line late in 2011
& already has amassed more than 10,000 unique visitors each month.
Visitors come from all over the US
from small towns to big cities & all sizes in between.
Kosher Woman has also grown in popularity in other countries including
Australia, Canada, England, Israel, South Africa & The Netherlands.
Kosher Woman, a treasure trove of information on subjects women need to know,
has become a comfort zone for Jewish women
for non-observant to the most observant & for young adults to senior citizens.

The pages within the sections aren’t always what you’d expect.
- Those new to observance praise the Prayer pages which they say have made their journey easier. Observant women who were taught to “do this” but weren’t shown the ‘how’ of some of the fundamentals also find the website very helpful.
- The Travel section boldly tells The Truth About Passover Travel as well as presenting a chart which shows ‘first timers’ how to select the right type of Passover program for their lifestyle.
- Our Guest Friendly Shul pages have not only helped travelers but have helped families and seniors decide to move to their communities.
- While the Kitchen section does have recipes, there are many other areas it covers such as Food Contamination, Cooking Methods & Quick Answers To Kashrus Questions to name just a few.
- The Lifestyle section not only has information on holidays & safety, but also has pages for abused women & where women who need a Jewish divorce can find help.
- Our Inspiration pages have not only given women hope & inspiration but a place to go to for comedy & stories to lessen their stress.
- The topics in the Health, Nutrition, Diet & Exercise sections run the gamut from Symptoms Of DVT & Fast & Nutritious Breakfasts to Pros & Cons of 20 Kosher Diets & Fun Activities That Work As Exercise.
Kosher Woman also has a newsletter with new information,
some of which is not available on the website,
that subscribers receive every two weeks.
We have grown from 40 pages to more than 400 pages.
We add 2-4 pages a month.
Our staff takes the time to update pages.
