- The answer speeds throughout
the Jewish community worldwide via faxes, texting & the
internet & many of us feel community pressure to 'follow the leader' - Sometimes this causes unnecesary hardships
IS THIS THE WAY IT HAS TO BE?
- The answer that's right for one person get may not be right for everyone
- When a person is on a very high level of observance, they may receive the strictest answer (chumra)
- The majority of us are not at such a high level (madrega) & we are not required to follow the strictest answer (chumra)
WHEN SEEKING ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS
- You can go to a local Rabbi who knows you & ask him your questions
- He might decide that you should follow a less strict answer(kula) which is suitable for the majority of observant men & women
